Welcome to Science in Society

Science in Society is an interesting and topical GCE advanced level course, which became available for first teaching in September 2008. It aims to develop the knowledge and skills that are needed for students to understand how science works, analyse contemporary issues involving science and technology and communicate their scientific appreciation and understanding to others.

This site is being developed to provide, in conjunction with the textbook, a full range of resources for teaching the course. We are developing these resources for A2 now, and will be adding them to this site on a regular basis.
