This will be an opportunity for teachers to see the new teaching resources for AS/A Science in Society, explore key scientific issues and meet other teachers introducing the course in September.
Andrew Hunt, editor of the Science in Society texts, will introduce the new AS book on its day of publication and update participants on progress with the A2 book.
During the day participants will have the opportunity to view the newly refurbished Royal Institution building opened by the Queen a few weeks earlier and visit the new exhibitions. There is also an opportunity to stay on for the evening Royal Institution event on the same night.
All conference participants will receive a copy of the AS Science in Society student book.
The conference fee, including lunch and refreshments, is £60.
