2008 ASE conference - teachers find out more about the course
Teachers at the ASE Science Conference at the University of Liverpool from the 3rd - 5th January were given the chance to learn more about Science in Society.
Two sessions were run by Paul Bowers Isaacson to introduce the content, structure and assessment of the Science in Society course at AS and A2 and to introduce the resources and support available for teaching the course. A copy of Paul's presentation is available to download
here (1.9 MB).
Participants at these sessions were able to pick up glossy printed versions of the AQA specification which will shortly be sent out to anyone who has registered interest on AskAQA.
Visitors to the Nuffield or AQA stands were able to view the first
proofs of the AS textbook which is on schedule for publishing in good time for preparations over the summer term.
