SPU teachers begin to write resources for course

By the time you are preparing to teach the Science in Society course we aim to have ready for download from this site a complete scheme of work and the associated class activities. Some of these activities will be updated from previous work prepared for AS Science for Public Understanding and some will be new.

On June 25th a small group of SPU teachers met with the resources team here at Nuffield to begin work on writing these resources. A few others were unable to make the day, in whole or in part, for reasons including work commitments and the weather which heavily disrupted transport in Yorkshire and the midlands. We had a hard-working but enjoyable day and have mapped out the start of a writing programme that should get everything to you in good time!
