The Nuffield Foundation

Student pages

The Science in Society web site is for everyone involved in the course but this section provides links to the pages that students are likely to find most useful.

You will find advice on internal Assessment, how to plan, write and present your work. Don't forget to read Chapter 12 of the textbook too, for help with the internal assessment.

If you want to take a higher education course that builds on the ideas you have studied in Science in Society you will find suggestions here.

In the Topics section for AS and A2 you will find web links for each topic which will help you get started on research or allow you to read around a topic that interests you.

To download a copy of a student guide about the course, click here (81 KB). A guide produced by the examining board AQA called Why choose Science in Society is also available to download from here.
