The new Science in Society course has been developed by a core team.
| Paul Bowers Isaacson is responsible for conferences and INSET for AS Science for Public Understanding. He is responsible for the marketing and promotion of Science in Society and works closely with the exam board for the course AQA. Paul is the principal moderator for AS Science for Public Understanding. |
| Angela Hall co-directs the Science in Society project. Angela is the Director of the Nuffield Curriculum Centre. During her time in an earlier role as project officer at Nuffield Angela wrote resources for the AS Science for Public Understanding course. |
| Andrew Hunt is editor of the textbook and chair of examiners for the AS Science for Public Understanding course. |
| Angela Melamed is responsible for the web site and the teaching resources for Science in Society. She is currently the Chief Examiner for AS Science for Public Understanding. |
| Robin Millar is based in the Department of Education Studies at the University of York and co-directs the Science in Society project. He was involved in the development of Science for Public Understanding and co-wrote the textbook for this course with Andrew Hunt. Robin is involved in the writing of the specification for Science in Society and writing and editing parts of the textbook for the course. |
| Jo Oladejo is a project manager at the Nuffield Curriculum Centre. She answers telephone and email enquiries about the Science in Society and SPU course and also keeps the website up-to-date. |
| Jean Scrase works for the Nuffield Curriculum Centre as a CPD Coordinator. She is involved in writing parts of the text book resource material for the Science in Society course. |
